Dream Big
Culmination. Done. Something is closing so something can open and begin. That in there is a big part of my practice and offering. The center, Abhyasa Yoga Center founded by J Brown in Williamsburg Brooklyn, where I’ve been studying, practicing, and teaching for the past 9 years or so, has closed its doors as of September 1 after 10 years of operation. There’s a new owner. The vision and path of the new space are not my path and vision. That’s ok. Really. That’s ok. There are many ways to a mountain top. There are many styles of this wonderful process and feedback of yoga. We have choices in yoga, and within the act of observing, questioning, and choosing, there is freedom and liberation. How fortunate are we to have this opportunity! I wish the new owner of the studio nothing but success.

Oh no! I was just looking up the schedule to see if you still taught Monday’s. I moved from Williamsburg to Ridgewood a few months back and miss your class and so sad to hear of the closing! Where are you teaching now?
Hiya. Yeah, after a 10 year run, Abhyasa was sold. Change. Such is life. I still teach in Williamsburg but now at https://loomyoga.com/williamsburg/ at 783 Driggs and South 4th st. At Loom, I teach Mondays 4:00pm-5:00pm, Tuesdays 4:00pm-5:00pm, and Thursdays 2:00pm-3:15pm. On Mondays I’m also at https://www.secondstorymovement.com/ in Jackson Heights Queens, 12:00pm-1:00pm. I also teach in a Himalayan salt room in Manhattan, Tuesdays and Saturdays 11:00am-12:00pm at http://www.modrnsalt.com/events/. If you dig the beach, you’ll dig salt yoga.
