Blending Essential Oils: The Results


To my fellow essential oil junkies who took my Basic Blending workshop at Abhyasa Yoga Center this past weekend, awesome job! Such great blends! What’s wonderful for leading these workshops is that I have the oils filed away in my brain and in my heart, but I would never think of these combinations if it weren’t for you. It kinda works like this. You bring your likes, your goals, and your desires to the workshop, and I just suggest why not basil with that geranium? Honestly, it’s a bit more than that, but it’s kinda like that. We go over the does and don’ts, I set you up, and then off you go into the essential oil wild blue yonder!

Let’s see. What blends did we come up with? Lavender, frankincense, and sandalwood. Delish. Great just before bed. Nighty night. Clary sage, vetiver, and patchouli. Woah. Earth mama. Grounding. Sensual. Also good before bed. Cedar, geranium, and frankincense. Strength, balance, and observation, and it smells good too! Yum.
