Previously On Martinez Yoga…
“Salvador, remember me?” To be honest, I didn’t remember that face in front of me one day after a Children’s Yoga class this past week. But after hearing her voice, it dawned on me. It was a former student I had two years ago at another elementary school. She was four years old at the time, but now she’s six, and totally looks different. Taller with a new haircut, but the same voice. She transferred schools, and she’s back in my yoga class. She was smiling from ear to ear, and gave me a hug when I told her I was now teaching at her new school. She said, “In yoga, we’re like a family.” You got that right, mi amiga! We are family! I got all my sisters with me!
Yoga brings us together, for we are not alone. We all are connected. All of us. Every living creature. I got a friendly reminder this week telling me so. Thanks, lil’ one!

Love this. Clearly, you’ve taught her well. Kudos.
